I’m a freelance travel writer and digital content creator based in the beautiful city of Auckland, New Zealand.
By day, I produce digital content for AUT (Auckland University of Technology). On the side, I write about travel and tea and create compelling content for travel organisations large and small.
I was born in Sydney, Australia to Aussie/Kiwi parents. When I was four, my family moved to rural England, and since then I’ve also lived in Southeast Asia, Sweden and Poland. I’ve now travelled to over 40 countries, and love immersing myself in other cultures, learning new languages, exploring the outdoors, and trying new food and tea in the places I visit.
I’ve created content for the European Union and travel startups, was a senior content producer at Australasia’s leading content marketing agency and have in-house experience working on marketing campaigns for New Zealand’s second-largest tertiary institution, AUT.
Digital Content Experience
While my specific areas of expertise lie in the travel and tertiary education sectors, I’ve written about pretty much everything, including business intelligence software, the Australian property market, yoga practice, adventure travel, the hospitality industry, KiwiSaver, teaching English as a Foreign Language, corporate event management, heavy cargo shipping, home loans and a whole lot more.
This means I’m a highly adaptable writer, able to write for a range of audiences and seamlessly transition from a friendly and conversational voice to an authoritative and professional tone. I also deliver on time and to the highest possible standard.
